Synopsis
Hong Kong - 1997. A bad news gangster, Vanness Wu, makes a power play and murders the current Police commissioner at a Police ball. In escape he and his goons take a gorgeous police-woman hostage. An epic John Woo style ballroom battle ensues as Vanness makes his escape with top cop, Andy On, hot on his heels. Andy kills a bunch of Vanness’ henchmen, but Vanness still gets away with Andy’s girl.
Andy quickly finds out that the marauding gang is a sex trade syndicate based in Thailand, and enlists the help of the kidnapped girls brother; a street toughened gangster with Thai contacts, Phil Ng. Together the the top cop and the badass bad boy turn the Thai underworld upside down to find her.
Sniffing trouble the Thai police put a tail on the Hong Kong duo. When Andy is captured by Vanness’ henchmen - the cops tell Phil where to find him, as they don’t want to be officially involved. Phil storms the hideout / and in a spectacular Kung Fu battle rescues Andy - Meanwhile the clock is ticking as Vanness closes the deal on the sale of our police-girl sex slave to a disgusting foreign buyer. Our heroes survive a bar room brawl and beat Vanness’ whereabouts out of the bar owner.
Phil and Andy lay siege to the gangster safe house and in a furious and bloody battle Phil dies, Andy and his girl kill Vanness and the buyer - ending the reign of his evil crime syndicate.
